Happy Accident

Little Bits About What Makes Me Tick

In this pic notice that you can see the birds head pitched way forward just prior to landing. He has the landing spot chosen and is reaching out with his talons to get a hold of the branch. This guy was pretty tame and some of the locals that were on site thought he was an escapee from the nearby Aviary. Salt Lake City.
This is a Bald Eagle coming in for a landing. I love how you can see the tail feathers splayed out and the shape of the wings to enable the bird to slow down.
This is a Red Tail we have named "Percy" i have no idea why. He likes to hang out near our house. However he is pretty wary and every time I point a big lens at him he gets antsy. Understandable!
Captured this guy in the Peninsula State Park, Door County, Wisconsin. Only got 2 pictures of him and they both turned out fantastic. Lucky grags on this guy.
