Torch Cafe - Fine Food
This Torch Cafe sign is another fading relic of a bygone era. I am still surprised to see these old signs still standing. I have vowed to get better and better at actually stopping and photographing them, instead of saying "Hey, that sign would make a great picture." Nikon D300, 18.0 - 200.0 mm; f/3.5 - f/5.6, 82mm, F11, 1/500 at ISO200.

I just love roadside relics like this! If I had the equipment, I could easily spend several days driving through the country looking for stuff like this...or signs painted on old barns, or even old rusty cars and tractors. It really tells a story.

Absolutely. I am feeling you 100%. There are a lot more than you think, we tend to drive by with no awareness of what is around us.
